Heather Stratton

Heather Stratton Master Stylist
With over thirteen years of practice in the Bay Area, I have learned more than the fine art of hair design. I have gained the ability to perform the delicate balance of fulfilling each client’s individual styling desires while maintaining an open forum for self-expression and conversation. With my attention to detail, thoughtful consideration and deep sensitivity for each person, I have cultivated trusted friendships with my clientele.

My  foundation began with basic instruction at Dublin Beauty College. When I graduated I was able to study side by side with the best that the Bay Area has to offer, been an educator for an elite cosmetology school, and I have stayed involved with the latest cut and color trends through education and peer relationships.

I am a certified Master Colorist with infinite ability in formulating any hair color. I will offer you only trusted, earth-friendly and cruelty-free products in our salon. I can refine your look by offering advice as to what hair color or haircut design that will look best, but I will never force my opinion on you. You may want to inquire about the hottest thing in the beauty industry today and I would be the girl to talk to.

With over 15 cumulative years in the salon industry I have learned how to give my clients the best salon experience from the consultation until they walk out the door, my goal is to help my client’s look and feel their best! I take time with each client making sure I understand and confirm their hair and beauty goals. I try to incorporate a little pampering which everyone deserves from time to time.

I attended Castro Valley Cosmetology School and subsequently worked in several salons in and around the Bay Area, gaining experience while continuing to learn all the newest cut and color techniques. Doing hair has been a passion of mine for many years and now I have the opportunity to share my passion with my clients.
Giving you the perfect look to fit your personality or lifestyle is my goal any time I have you in my seat.

I know that we all have a special uniqueness about ourselves and I love to bring it out in you whether it be with a new haircut a new hair color or keeping your hair just the way you like it.

I offer a verity of different hair care services and with my experience in hair I can offer you a day of relaxation, pampering and fabulous hair.

I attended Designs School of Cosmetology and throughout my journey there I was able to gain the foundation I needed to be the hairstylist I am now. I've taken specialty classes and training in hair coloring and cutting to enhance my techniques and hair care knowledge.

Working at Salon Esencia has been a great experience for me. Working here has been everything I always looked for in a salon.  When I first walked into the salon I knew that it was the perfect spot for me to be. The other stylist are wonderful, helpful and fun and the Salon always has such a peaceful and a at home feel to it.
Helping my clients feel confident and making them feel beautiful is what makes my job as a stylist fun.

I look forward to meeting you and making your hair look and feel fabulous.

Jessica Gray

My name is, Jessica Gray.  I I wanted to let you know a little bit about myself as a stylist and as a person.  I’ve lived in Pleasanton my entire life with my family of seven, and graduated from Amador Valley High School and went directly onto Las Positas College.  My Passion has always been cosmetology, and after working part time as a make-up artist, I desired to go back to school and pursue my cosmetology license.  My background in art enhances my passion and creativity in hair design and color.  Since receiving my cosmetology license, I continue to refine my skills through a variety of workshops.  Hair design is such a personal experience between the stylist and the client; I would like to share a little bit about who I am with you. Through my entire youth I trained and competed in competitive gymnastics, excelling just below the Elite level.  Now I continue to share my knowledge with a younger generation, by coaching the competitive team at Gymfinity Gymnastics part time.  Gymnastics made me a dedicated person, teaching me the ability to refine and master skills, which has played a roll in all other aspects of my life.  Not only am I a hairstylist and gymnastics coach, but I am also a competitive power lifter and CrossFit trainer in Pleasanton.  All aspects of my life involve working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I might be a petite person, but don’t let my size fool you.  I have a huge personality, always positive, enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated.  I enjoy meeting new people and listening to them share their life experiences with me.  When I know a little about you I am confident that I can create a style and color that is just for you.
